The 2026-27 season is coming soon. #219grit

[Carl Trosien @CoachTrosien]

@SwingAngryLLC One of the most insightful messages I have seen about hitting on here. He is spot on. Young hitters need to understand the process of being successful and that failure is inevitable. You will fail but have a plan to fail less than everyone else.

[Carl Trosien @CoachTrosien]

@MatthewC1776 @JimCosta_ I also don’t believe the Tigers could do the deal he wants and put pieces around him or keep its young core intact.

I disagree on the Tigers payroll and what they could do and still be very profitable.

I also don’t believe extending him is a good baseball decision.

[Carl Trosien @CoachTrosien]

@MatthewC1776 @JimCosta_ I do agree in this current climate. I don’t believe that will be the climate we live in once baseball returns with a new CBA. I can’t see owners allowing this level of spending to continue.

FYI - I am leaning heavily toward they should move him.

[Carl Trosien @CoachTrosien]

@MatthewC1776 @JimCosta_ Look at the previous spending before Junior took over and then look at the forbes list of richest MLB owners.

Chris chooses to be cheap.

Profits above chasing a title…

His father must be rolling over in his grave. It’s a choice. Horrible Take !

@worldhockeyrpt On the flip side a few extra days off helps reduce the wear and tear of playing in the olympics and hopefully helps keep those guys fresh for May/June !

Anybody who has been around high level hockey understands that a few extra days will keep guys fresh come playoff time

[Carl Trosien @CoachTrosien]

@worldhockeyrpt Horrible Take - Remove Politics !
The entire league just had a week of family vacations and a week of mini training camp.
The Olympic guys just played a two week elite tournament. Tell me who is more ready to play tomorrow night (Hint- It ain’t the guys who went on vacation)

@moneil87 @JimCosta_ You are seeing the same approach with the Wings. Be competitive enough to keep the seats full but do it as cheaply as possible to maximize profits.
