Still pretty surreal to even be nominated for @TheNAECAD coach of the year, much less actually win it. This is by no means an individual award. There are so many players, other coaches, coworkers, administrators, and of course my family, who helped me get here. It means the world to me. The future is bright!
Big news, Minnesota 🐺👀
The @MSHSL Board approved a Pilot Esports Season for 2026-27, and Fenworks is proud to be the presenting partner and officiating provider.
Nearly a decade in the making, built by our students, coaches, schools, and families. This win is yours 🏆❤️🖤
@RedOpz_@Bungie Halo 3 holds a special place in my heart as it was my first ever game release I stayed up all night for, to go get in line and wait for the release! Grabbed the branded Mountain Dew Code Red with it and played the next 72 hours straight. Might not ever be topped!
@CoachPalmEsport I think collegiate seasons for games would help this a lot. Traditional transfer windows that occur during winter break and summer break after seasons conclude. A big benefit among others, in my opinion.
We need to work together to make sure esports is not a passing trend. I am proud to have worked on this partnership with a guy I have been working with since my first year as a coach, @CoachTylerPauly
We will continue to build resources to ensure esports is here to stay.
We are incredibly excited to be partnering with the @ISEAEsports !
ISEA is a nationwide coalition operating in 25 states as they work to push forward the future of K-12 academic esports. We believe in their mission and see this as the first step in a long term partnership to help grow the academic esports space from top to bottom

@JaketheDad30@CaptAwesomeMG13 Yeah, this looks very different in high school than collegiate, but it is critical in helping these young players understand the inequities of life, much of which they will truly experience in college and beyond.
@JaketheDad30 Completely agree.
In football especially, those games are great win-wins for the sport as the FCS team gets money that funds their program, and the big FBS team gets an easy win and allows for 2nd and 3rd string players to get game reps. It was fun to see the Gophers do that!
@JaketheDad30 Haha I was agreeing with you. I think the whole system is broken in general and has created a poor competitive atmosphere. In trad sports, you have varsity level and intramurals. Esports should be no different, we just have to be able to sustain that.

We're extremely excited to officially announce the addition of Kylie, Tyler, and Tyler to our team

💼 NECC Executive Team 💼
As we enter our sixth year of supporting our members and providing a competitive environment, we are striving to continue to build and improve the NECC everyday. That growth starts with leadership, and this summer our team expanded…
Introducing our NEW executive team!
@JaketheDad30 Initially reaching out on campus and bringing in strong female voices to be advocates for the program and for our teams. We have the ability to have an all female team, so that was always a big draw, but maybe at your level it looks more like female only events to gain interest
