Iowa’s own Randy Wilson. State champ in High Hurdles, Mile, XC. Was a top American half miler in the 70’s and 80’s. Beat Olympic medalists Boit & Wolhuter to win Drake in ‘77 then Boit again in ‘78 in 1:45.86. A record that still
stands. Made ‘80 Olympic team. Sub 4 miler.
