2nd Year and Practicum 1(3rd Year) Students are testing their knowledge of using the National Electrical Code to answer code questions after numerous practice exams. My goal for my students is not only be able to do electrical work, but understand the reason why.
So proud of these young men! Not enough words can be said to how hard they work and how DIFFERENT it makes them. For the first time in over a decade Grapeland High School will have two relays in the regional round as well as a freshman in the 100m dash. #SandieSpeed
So wonderful to host our first in person @LeanderISD DWEIC meeting since Feb 2020 🎉 Thanks to all our DWEIC members for their service to our district. We appreciate you!! 💙💛 #1LISD
Hopefully the start of another successful winning SkillsUSA season. Third year students are working on preliminary drawings for their SkillsUSA projects.
Training well-rounded electricians, not just teaching them to pull Romex and run conduit, but also to be experts at the National Electric Code Book as well. #codegurus!!
The fruits of my students’ hard work and my tough love. I think now they understand why I stay on them about doing their best all the time. Plus they said that they had a blast being in Corpus for 4 day, the competition as well as the small amount of free time
This is what SkillsUSA is truly about. In this case it’s the Freshman teaching the Senior how tie to a tie. He taught himself by reading the instructions in the SkillsUSA Leadership Handbook.
