@D3Direct If a camp visit results in an "offer" recruits should ask for specifics of the offer and if it's commitable. Anything other than "yes" to the second part means it's not a real offer, at least not yet.

Confused about whether a camp invite means a school is actually interested in you?

Reply to the email to say thank you and see if you can set up time for a short phone call to learn more about the program

If a coach is recruiting you, they'll usually take the time

If not, there's a good chance you're not high on their board

Still seeing class of 2026 girls playing with AAU basketball teams. For those signed, coaches should have told them no full contact.

For unsigned, some WBB programs still looking for players so they aren't looking hard enough or need to adjust their level expectations.

HS Coach lists a player at 6'2" on their roster and at an AAU tournament standing next to them they're barely 5'10. Come on now. That's the kind of stuff us WBB coaches have to deal with all the time.
