Watching film really is a difference maker between high school and college ball. You can arguably get by on talent in high school—not so much in college. I wish I had coaches that instilled the film study discipline like @Nxt_Gen_Academy is doing for young athletes 💯
Recruiting Tip of the day:
What does a gameday invite mean?
1. These coaches have heard something about you and they are inviting you out to show you their program live in action.
2. Can you invite yourself? Yes, this is not an exclusive list, you can email/call recruiting departments to get your in.
3. Good recruiters will see the game day list and familiarize themselves with the prospects, but busy or unorganized recruiters may not. If they don’t recognize you, speak up and introduce yourself when given the appropriate opportunity
4. These are NOT the end all be all. If you need to save money, attend camp instead. You will be taken more seriously.
5. These are a fun learning experience but not required to get recruited. If you personally get invited and you have the means to attend, DO SO. You are likely a top recruit for that program🔥

Recruiting Tip of the Day:
HUGE HUDL MISTAKES
1. Don’t Show Cheap Shots or Loafing - impact plays ONLY.
2. Don't Show the Same Play More Than Once
3. Don't Mess With the Flow- NO pauses during the play. It interrupts the action and hinders their ability to gauge athleticism.

Recruiting Tip of the Week:
Gearing up for high school ball can get intense.
1. Make sure you stay academically strong - checking in with your counselor if needed
2. Update your highlights weekly
3. Communicate with coaches early and often
4. Set GOALS.
Go be great. @coachkeels4@Coach_AStan
📆 Keep a timeline!
STUDENT-ATHLETES know what recruiting period you are in! Right now FBS schools are in a dead period.
Dead Period- coaches are not allowed to have any face-to-face contact with recruits. During this time, the only contact allowed is over the phone by calling or texting, through email or through direct messages on social media.

🗣️ Ask questions!
Committable vs non-commitable offers!
A committable offer: can commit to the institution at any moment.
Typically the school has you as their top guy!
A non-committable offer: must wait if you want to commit to the institution.
The school wants to see you at camp or has you high on their board but not the top.
Be aware of what type of offer you have and where you stand on a schools recruiting board.
Don’t be afraid to ask coaches about the program, scholarship opportunities, and what they’re looking for in recruits. @Coach_AStan@coachkeels4@NxtGenCoachDave@J_Beach10 #AskQuestions #NextgenAcademy #CollegeRecruiting #Freegame
