NCAA hopes to have a vote on 5-year eligibility in June.
Athletes would get 5 years to play 5 seasons, no redshirts or extensions. Clock begins at HS grad or 19 yrs old. (Exceptions for military, religious mission or pregnancy)
These are the expected guidelines for athletes:
You wanna be a coach?
⚾️ You will feel unappreciated
⚾️ You will have people talk bad about you
⚾️ You will be consumed by the “job”
⚾️ You will have people question your every move
⚾️ You will be taken advantage of
Is it worth it?
Every coach who actually cares about his players and the team culture loves the process and the development. So yeah, it’s worth it in the long run and it’s incredibly rewarding helping young men develop into the people God created them to be… but man, it is really hard sometimes to keep going!
*Coaches: You are needed, you are appreciated, you are important. Keep giving your all!

Chemistry > Talent.
Every time.
The team player elevates everyone.
The superstar might destroy everything.
Which would you rather coach?
Which ARE you?

High school baseball players — commit to a college because it’s the right fit for YOU. Pick a program and coaching staff where you’ll grow and be valued. Don’t stress over the social-media post. It lasts a day or two… then nobody cares. What matters is where you’ll thrive.
