[Chris Hughes @ChrisHughesCP]

I got the call yesterday from my friend Kevin Gillespie letting me know that he would be approved as the new head coach at Thomasville HS. What a GREAT hire for the Bulldogs, and he’s back where he started his coaching career. 🏈

Today marks end of Phyllis Hayes’ 37-yr #NFL career, the past 14.5 of with the @Giants serving as asst to our communications and medical services depts. We wish her (and her 5! Super Bowl rings-3 w/Washington, 2 w/ #NYG) well and thank her for her professionalism and good nature.

[pat hanlon @giantspathanlon]

P.S. One of the keys to Phyllis’ longevity is that she has refrained from having a presence on social media (to my knowledge). But we will make certain she sees all your kind words and well wishes!

For PM crowd: Today is end of Phyllis Hayes’ 37-yr #NFL career, the past 14.5 w/ the @Giants as asst to our communications and medical services depts. We wish her (and her 5! Super Bowl rings-3 w/Washington, 2 w/ #NYG) well and thank her for her professionalism and good nature.

Final thought for today. There are a lot more Phyllis Hayes in the #NFL than there are Eli’s, Odell’s, Joey T’s, Joe Gibbs, etc. The behind-the-scenes folks take their jobs seriously and contribute to a championship environment as much as anybody. I’ll leave it at that.

[pat hanlon @giantspathanlon]

The “impressions” of my Phyllis Hayes’ tweets today are rapidly approaching 500,000. I don’t know what that means, but I’ve tweeted about Eli and Odell before and haven’t come close to that number. #NFL #nyg #TheRestofUs
