I’ve spent all July at AAU tournaments and I think a lot of kids have the game confused. Basketball IQ Is definitely at an all time low.
The best player on the floor will make everyone else around them better. It’s not about dropping 30 points or highlight tapes. If you’re talented, that stuff will take care of itself.
High school recruitment is at an all time low right now so it’s more important than ever to know how to play the game the right way. Drive and kicks, advancing the ball, extra passes, communication, reading screen coverages, etc…
For the kids: Ignore outside voices and trust your coaches who are preaching to you to play the right way.
Northeast Kansas Boys Basketball Players NEED votes for their player poll! Help get these athletes a chance to be featured in their own story! VOTE NOW - POLL ENDS 1/31

We will do conditioning all fall, to get their bodies ready.
And this will lead right up to the first day of practice sir?
Definitely not. We will mandate a week off prior to the start of practice. We shall call it Buffer week.
Buffer week sir? Why?
Nobody knows.
@CrunchTimeCZ@AravantinosDA Figured I’d check back in here…
All 12 teams in Olympics have current AND former NBA guys on rosters. 81 total dudes with NBA experience.
Oh and these dudes just 5peated in the Olympics… tell me again how the NBA isn’t the best basketball in the world. #WorldChamps
@brianmccormick My rule is to “Don’t make a decision in the air.”
Jump passes are fine and sometimes encouraged if you know where you are going and are creating a better angle

I know I’m biased to the Thunder, but I need them to win this series. I can’t watch Luka whine to the officials or wave his finger for a review 10 times a game for another series.
