The second-seeded CBC baseball team topped No. 1 seed SLUH 8-5 on Saturday at Mike Shannon Stadium to win the Missouri Class 6 District 3 championship.

The Cadets (23-15-1) advance to face Francis Howell Central (25-11) in a best-of-three quarterfinal series that begins on Friday at Howell Central.
