460 Round Trip: Great Bend (5A, 2-0) made a long road trip to Olathe South on Friday night and came away with a statement 40-21 victory over the 6A Falcons. The Panthers traveled more than three and a half hours for the matchup, but the drive didn’t slow them down as they rolled to 2-0 on the season. Under head coach Erin Beck, Great Bend has quickly built momentum, and this latest win adds another impressive result to start the year.
