Let’s pray:
Heavenly Father, with a thankful heart we rise to meet You in prayer this Wednesday morning, giving You glory, honor, and praise for the many blessings You’ve already given us this week. We ask that You help us speak kindly and show Your love to everyone we meet throughout the day. Help us set aside our concerns about what’s happening in the world and enjoy the day You have planned for us. Today, I pray for those losing hope because their plans haven’t materialized as they expected. Let them know that Your plans for our lives are always much better than anything we can envision and are worth the wait. Help us follow the Holy Spirit today as He leads us closer to Jesus and a life filled with love and peace. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
I'm convinced @DukeWBB Coach Kara Lawson is one of the best leaders in sports. This clip on urgency, growth not being linear, and the idea that there is no finish line is superb:
🥱 Need It > Want It. The people who win aren’t always the most gifted, they’re the ones who refuse to look away from what’s required RIGHT NOW. They stay present with the hard, the boring, and the uncomfortable, and they attack anyway. Wanting shows up when it’s convenient; needing shows up when it costs you something.
📈📉 Growth isn’t a straight line. There will be peaks that tempt your ego and valleys that test your belief. Real leadership is keeping your urgency and sharpness intact through all of it. Trusting that consistency is what will carry you through. Don't let your own impatience with stagnancy take your spirit.
🏁 There is no finish line where you finally get to coast, only new levels that ask more of you. Better is a direction, not a destination. The “ceiling” you feel is often just an imaginary story you’ve told yourself about what’s possible. Growth asks for the endurance to keep going and the humility to treat every day, every season, every year as another chance to get better.
Bring urgency to the way you show up every day. Don't ever give up on your own growth. 🌱
Let’s pray:
Heavenly Father,
I thank You for bringing me to the last day of April.
You sustained me, protected me, and kept me so I give You glory. Your Word says in Ecclesiastes 3:11 that You make everything beautiful in its time so I declare: this day will produce beauty, completion, and fulfillment.
Father, let this day carry:
Sudden favor
Divine connections
Open doors
Good news I wasn’t expecting
Every battle tied to April ends today.
Every burden lifts today.
Lord, I step into divine completion.
Your Word in Philippians 1:6 says You will complete what You started so I declare: it is finished, it is settled, it is complete.
As I cross out of April into a new month,
I carry peace, victory, clarity, and momentum.
I will not carry confusion, fear, or struggle forward.
I decree:
This last day will speak loudly in my life.
It will leave evidence of Your power.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
God is saying to you today,
For every hardship, every tear, and every moment of struggle, I am giving you double honor, double joy, and double blessings. Where you were once rejected, you will be celebrated. Where you faced loss, I am bringing restoration. The very place of your pain will become the place of your greatest testimony.
Hold on. God hasn’t forgotten you. Your double portion is coming.
The woman with the issue of blood in the Bible suffered for 12 years. She became desperate for Jesus. He was on his way to see someone else, but she knew all she had to do was touch what was attached to him and she would be healed. It wasn’t her turn, but it was her time! Your faith can move you up in line. I’m expecting God to come through for me.
In Psalm 23, after David spoke of the Lord as our shepherd and walking through the valley of the shadow of death, he concluded, “Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life.” We all go through dark valleys, but remember this: after every shadow, a surely is coming. Surely goodness is coming, surely healing is coming, surely new levels are coming. Surely blessings are coming, surely good news is coming.
Let’s pray,
Heavenly Father,
I come before You with a heart full of gratitude, hope, and expectation for this new day. Thank You for the gift of life and for the strength You have given me to reach this moment. Lord, renew my strength where I feel tired, calm my mind where thoughts feel heavy, and fill my spirit with Your perfect peace. Let today bring clarity in my decisions, favor in my interactions, breakthroughs in areas of delay, and steady progress in all that concerns me. Order my steps according to Your will, protect my heart from discouragement and fear, and surround me with Your presence in every moment. May this Wednesday be filled with answered prayers, meaningful progress, unexpected blessings, and clear reminders that You are faithfully leading me forward.
Amen.
Let’s pray;
Heavenly Father,
I’m trying to stay strong, but you can see how close I am to breaking. I’ve prayed, hoped, worked, and waited, and it feels like nothing is shifting. I’m not angry at you, I’m just…tired. I need to know that you’re still here, that you still see me. Lord, take what I can’t carry. The fear. The weariness. The questions that wake me at night. Replace them with quiet strength. Let Your peace sit heavy over me until the tension starts to loosen. I don’t need everything fixed at once. I just need enough grace for the next step, enough hope to keep believing that there’s still good ahead.
Thank You for listening even when my prayers sound like sighs. Thank you for staying close even when I’m pushing through frustration. Keep me steady, God. Keep me tender. Keep me believing that something beautiful is still being born from all of this.
Amen.

This entire week will favour you. Nothing missing, nothing broken, nothing taken from you. May the hand of God rest upon your steps and the mercy of God speak for you in places you cannot reach.
Everywhere your name appears, favour will answer. Every step you take will lead to results. No delay, no disappointment, no bad news. Whatever was planned to slow you down will scatter before you arrive.
This week, help will find you early. Resources will locate you. People assigned to lift you will show up. What has been hard for months will suddenly become easy. Your name will be remembered for good.

Amen.
Dear Lord,
Today, as I step into this new day, ignite the fire within me to chase after the purpose You have destined for my life. Guide my steps, align my heart, and lead me to the places where I can make the greatest impact for Your kingdom. Let Your light shine through me as I embrace the challenges and opportunities ahead. In the name of Jesus, I claim victory, wisdom, and unwavering faith. Amen 🙏🏾
Trusting God isn't for the weak. You have to hold it together when everything around you is falling apart. You must stay patient and still say, "Lord, I trust You," even when you're tired of waiting. His ways are not our ways; His thoughts are not our thoughts. It may get hard, but trusting His plan is worth it.
"Be still, and know that I am God." – Psalm 46:10 🤍
Exodus 14:14 says that God will fight for you and that you are called to be still.
That sounds simple, but it is often the hardest part. When life feels heavy, being still can feel impossible. Our instinct is to fix things, to push harder, or to exhaust ourselves trying to control outcomes we were never meant to manage. We equate movement with faith and effort with obedience. Yet this verse gently interrupts that pattern and reminds us that trust matters more than effort. Sometimes faith looks like letting go, stepping back, and allowing God to carry what you were never meant to hold.
You are not falling behind. You are not failing by resting. You are not weak for trusting. You are being faithful. And God is fighting for you even when you cannot see it yet.
Romans 8:31
If God is for us who can be against us.
Dear Lord,
Today, I choose to trust You. When the odds are stacked against me and the world tells me to give up, I will hold onto Your promises. You are the God of the impossible, and I believe that You can turn my trials into triumphs. I declare that my faith is greater than my fear, and my future is in Your hands. No matter what comes my way, I will stand firm in Your love and unwavering in my trust. In Jesus name. Amen🙏🏾
Lets pray:
Heavenly Father, I’m here again because I know I can’t make it without You.
Some days I feel strong, other days I feel like I’m barely holding it together. But even in the mess, I know You see me. You’ve never left, never abandoned, never failed me.
Today, I’m asking You to show up in ways that silence my doubts.
Not just with little things, but with undeniable proof that You’re in my story.
If doors need to open, open them wide.
If people need to leave, remove them gently.
If strength is what I need, pour it out until I overflow.
I don’t want to just “survive” anymore, Lord.
I want to live fully, walk boldly, and see miracles in real time.
So I’m putting this day, my fears, my future, and everything I can’t control in Your hands.
Stay close, speak loud, and guide me through.
I trust You even when it’s hard, Amen.
Let’s pray:
I pray for you this Wednesday morning:
May the God who watches over you day and night go ahead of you and perfect everything concerning you. Nothing will rise today to frustrate your peace. Nothing assigned against you will stand. The presence of God will surround you like a shield.
Everywhere your name is mentioned today, favour will speak. Every step you take will open doors. What slowed you down in previous days will no longer have power over you. No delay, no setback, no disappointment will find you.
Your strength will not fade, your hope will not die, and your hands will not grow weary. What God has ordained for you today will not be diverted, delayed or stolen. May your mind receive clarity, your spirit receive direction, and your heart receive peace for every decision before you.
Help will look for you. Provision will find you. Those assigned to support you will not be hindered. What has been difficult for weeks will shift in your favour. Your destiny will attract the right voices, the right opportunities and the right people.
Go into this Wednesday with boldness, grace and divine backing. You will end today with testimonies, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
A PRAYER FOR MID-JANUARY
Dear God,
As I stand in the middle of this month, I pause to thank you for how far you’ve already carried me. These first few weeks have held their own mix of hope and heaviness, and you’ve met me in all of it in the moments I felt strong and in the moments I felt unsure.
Today, I place the rest of this month in your hands. Steady my heart where it feels restless. Strengthen me where I feel worn down. Give me the wisdom to know what to release, the courage to continue what you’ve asked of me, and the clarity to recognize where you are gently redirecting my steps.
If I have been moving too fast, slow me down. If I have been holding back out of fear, remind me that I am not walking alone. If I have been carrying what wasn’t meant for me, help me set it down.
Cover my home with peace, my mind with discernment, and my days with purpose. Let the rest of this month unfold with grace and with a deeper trust that you are guiding me even when I cannot see the full path.
I give you this moment, this month, and everything that comes with it.
Amen.
When Adam ate the fruit and God came to him, God found him hiding.
God asked, “Adam, where are you?”
Adam replied, “I heard You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”
Then God asked him a powerful question:
“Who told you that you were naked?”
Numbers 13:33, when Moses sent spies to scout the Promised Land, they went and came back with a report. This is what they said:
“We saw the giants, the descendants of Anak… and we were like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and so we were in their eyes.”
Pause there. God did not call them grasshoppers.
God did not reduce them. God did not label them as small or weak. That description came from their own fear.
The pattern is the same in both stories. Adam hid because he accepted a voice that produced shame. The spies retreated because they accepted a voice that produced inferiority.
Never listen to a voice that makes you hide, shrink, or disqualify yourself. If it did not come from God. Fear always lies about who you are before it defeats you in life.
Before you step back, give up, or lose confidence, ask the same question God asked Adam:
Who told you?
Dear God,
Some days fear feels louder than faith when I’m worried about the future, unsure of my next steps, or overwhelmed by what I can’t control. But even then, You remind me I’m not walking through this alone. You meet me in the uncertainty, steady my racing heart, and gently realign me with the truth that I am held.
Guide me today, God. Quiet the anxious thoughts that rise too quickly. Strengthen the weary parts of me. I place my family, my work, my hopes, my worries, and every dream I’m still nurturing into Your hands. Lead my life in the direction only You can see, and help me trust the timing I don’t yet understand.
I don’t know what tomorrow holds, but I know who walks with me into it. And that is enough.
Amen.
Dear Lord,
Today, as i step into this new week, I dare to believe that as I get up and walk towards it, You are making my crooked places straight and giving me the capacity for the new in my life right now. Remind me that I can't receive new miracles with old habits and toxic mindsets. May I not miss what You are doing today because I am still consumed with how things were before. In Jesus' name, Amen🙏🏾
