🚨 HIGH SCHOOL CORNERBACKS 🚨 Your highlight film should show far more than just interceptions or pass breakups. College coaches want to evaluate complete cornerbacks who can consistently compete, think fast, and impact the game in multiple ways A strong CB film should highlight: ✅ Press man technique and ability to stay in phase ✅ Smooth backpedal, transition quickness, and hip fluidity ✅ Ball skills and finishing ability at the catch point ✅ Recovery speed and overall athleticism ✅ Open field tackling and run support toughness ✅ Zone awareness, route recognition, and football IQ ✅ Discipline, leverage, and proper footwork ✅ Competitiveness against top receivers ✅ Consistent production and effort every snap ✅ Special teams value and versatility Defensive backs today are expected to do everything. Coaches want corners who can cover in man, understand zone concepts, tackle in space, communicate, and eliminate explosive plays Keep your film clean, detailed, and position specific. Show complete reps, not just the result.
