Two competitive @SixNationsRugby games today. Very different game styles. Showed how teams with different styles can be competitive. What struck me was how entertaining both games were, although they were both low scoring games. Great example of contest creates a good showcase.

Two tests today… one the scrum built pressure and the other it was the maul.
Entertaining test match rugby is always about the ability to build pressure.

Power of the maul, test match rugby is all about the set piece, if the scrum doesn’t build pressure go to the maul. Test match rugby is the balance between power and speed … know when to use which one

@dylmjack We have the facilities we have the athletes we have the financial systems to support them. All that’s lacking is co ordination and political will to drive it

@dylmjack These athletes give up to 12 years of their lives to compete and be their best. They deserve so much more support. Their dedication is astounding. I respect them all so much.
This is where our government should focus its attention and energy to put together resources for them.
