Not just a coach, but a role model and mentor for these young men, a voice of calm and confidence, while still challenging and demanding his athletes to be better than they ever thought possible. A Team Builder.

Proud to call John Merritt a colleague and a friend. Congrats!

So proud of my son, @LiamRusso4 . Missed first 3+ weeks of training due to State Bball Championship, added ~25 lbs for football, but always kept goals set high. Never settled. Now he’s a 2x All-State 110 m hurdler, ending season w two PRs and School Record. @DeSmetJesuitHS

[De Smet Track and XC @DeSmetTrackXC]

All-State!!! Liam Russo finishes 7th in the 110m HH at the MSHSAA State Championship Meet, beating his own school record time (15.04 today) from yesterday, finishing just .04 out of 5th. @LiamRusso4
