Congrats to @CoachMillerMU on being named GPAC Coach of the Year after leading Morningside University the 2025-26 GPAC Championship.
Coach Miller worked MEB Satellite Camps for four years after being coached by MEB Co-Founder @Coach_Schmit at Morningside. Trent was always ahead of the curve and led with elite individual instruction, relationships, and through his strong Christian faith, all which he still does today as a head college coach of his Alma Mater.

Surreal the longevity MEB has had since 2006:
Coaches have changed.
Athletes have changed.
Competition has evolved.
Still going strong doing what we do best: developing programs at the grass roots.

One of the highlights of my summer so far. Got to direct and lead the Carroll College day camp. Developing the youth is a high priority of my current basketball journey. Blessed to have this opportunity.
#FightingSaints
Last two weeks over 150 young hoopers attended our basketball camps. They got 1% each day, built new connections with Saints players, and had a blast being on our beautiful campus.
Our program is all about giving back to the game by impacting all levels of basketball.
Any high school players who want a high academic, small Catholic college experience in a beautiful place to live, reach out to me.
We value 4-year guys. We value development. We value getting your Carroll degree.
#FightingSaints
Elite group of freshmen will be joining the program this fall. Local talent from Helena, All-State players from the Pacific Northwest, along with one international player from Turkey.
Program culture being built through recruitment. #4YearGuys

Missing my time on the MEB camp tour. Been a staple of my summer for the past 19 years.
Networking, on court development, seeing new places, and the freedom that comes living on the road.
#TeamMEB for life!
Week three of MEB satellite camps starts up today. Coaching staffs will be traveling to:
Rock River HS, WY
Great Plains Lutheran HS, SD
Portageville HS, MO
Maxwell HS, NE
Kaycee HS, WY
Kiowa HS, CO
We will travel anywhere to spread our love for the game.
#TeamMEB
Surreal to think how many communities and players we have impacted over the past 19 summers.
#TeamMEB coaches are built different: lots of time on the road, camps in rural locations, hotel life, hot gyms, and time away from family. All for our love of the game and giving back.
Coaches, reach out to me directly about our @MidwestEliteBB summer camps. We’ve been doing this for a long time. Would love to add some more HS programs to our 2025 schedule.

As the season grinds on, finding ways to get up game like shots can be a challenge. This is a simple drill to work on various shots you will see in games.
Was blessed to work with Coach Fearing at Central Wyoming. She is a hard worker who really cares for her players. Doing some big things in her first head coaching gig at the NCAA level.

Coach Lindsey Fearing
(@CoachFearing)
Current Position:
New Mexico Highlands University, Head Women’s Coach
MEB Summers: 5
IMPORTANCE OF MEB:
“Joining MEB was one of the best decisions I made for my career. It helped me develop skill work on the fly and meet college coaches/High School coaches from all over who made me better. The networking opportunities with MEB are second to none.”
#TeamMEB
Have always enjoyed being on the court 1 on 1 with players; especially with the bigs. So much room to improve as a young post player. Take this simple drill and incorporate it into your skill development.
Drill of the Day
"Circle Cut Finishing"
Purpose:
Develop touch around the charge arc using a variety of finishes.
Skills Developed:
Footwork. Finishing with both hands. Reading defense. Player movement off of penetration.
Reps:
4-6 of each move going in each direction.
#TeamMEB
Coach Arnold is one of the more well rounded staff members MEB has had. Wise beyond his years, always willing to give back, and a great dude to spend time with. Any coach or player who has interacted with him knows the impact he makes.
Appreciate his summers with #TeamMEB

Coach James Arnold

Current Position:
Columbia College, VP of Marketing and Athletics
-Former head coach Columbia College.
MEB Summers: 6
IMPORTANCE OF MEB:
“MEB was critically important in so many ways for me professionally and personally. What started as an opportunity to coach in the summer and make a few extra dollars turned into one of the most transformational experiences of my professional life. Not only did I make lifelong friends and contacts, my X’s & O’s knowledge was tested and improved, I learned so many new drills and concepts, and had a ton of laughs and made countless great memories. When I drive through towns across the country where we held camps and I see former MEB campers and staffers on TV and on social media doing great things…it really makes me smile.”
#TeamMEB
Had to dust the sneakers off for this one. Footwork made my game work.
Skill development cannot be neglected during the season. Grow your game daily. Small improvements will compound into large gains.
Drill of the Day
"Square Up Footwork"
Catching the ball on the move happens countless times during a game. How often are we training our feet for those moments?
Layers:
1) Inside Foot Square-Up
2) Shot Fakes
3) Ball Sweep to Crossover Step
4) Double Rip to Direct Drive
5) Reverse Pivot "Kobe"
PLAYERS: Can work on individually outside of practice time.
COACHES: Incorporate this into your warm-up (2-3X a week)
DO NOT NEGLECT SKILL DEVELOPMENT DURING THE SEASON.
INDIVIDUALS IMPROVE, TEAMS IMPROVE
The #MEB way!
"Bergy" was instrumental during the peak of our satellite camps. Guy is a hell of a coach. Grateful for the years he spent working camps with #TeamMEB.

Coach Tim Bergstraser (@CoachBergyMSUM)
Current Position:
Minnesota State Moorhead (NCAA DII), Head Men’s Basketball Coach
MEB Summers: 5 (2013-2017)
IMPORTANCE OF MEB:
“If you are in love with coaching the game of basketball MEB is an incredible experience. I learned a massive amount on how to construct a practice tailored to the high coaches system. You grow as a coach through leading several camps. The most valuable piece is the MEB family you get to connect with in this profession while gaining new relationships. All around MEB is impactful to committed coaches and the opportunity to help a wide variety of high school programs and student athletes.”
Ouray is one of the dopest places I have ever been. "Switzerland of America" is what is known as. Epic views. Wonderful people. Energetic young basketball players. Been blessed to direct this camp for multiple summers.
#TeamMEB
“Program of the Past”
Ouray High School (CO)
Head Coach: Adam Trujillo, Head Boy’s Coach
Summers hosting MEB: 9 out of the last 12 summers.
Quote from Coach Trujillo:
“In 2013 we hosted our first MEB camp. A group of college coaches/players who would travel to our community for less than $150 a camper seemed like a no brainer. Teaching basketball skills to our players in a familiar environment without the cost of lodging or food traveling somewhere else.
In the last twelve years MEB has helped develop our program into a state tournament type team. They have also created excitement all the way down to our youth level. It has been our goal to build a program and not just a year to year team. MEB has been instrumental in helping us do this.”
Drill of the Day:
Rapid Two Ball Passing
One of the most under developed skills is the ability to pass and catch with both hands. This two ball drill is the perfect warm-up for practice or to use in small group workouts.
#TeamMEB#StackSkils#Passing
Coach Nelson jumped on #TeamMEB in the early days. Has impacted countless programs around the Midwest. High level guy who leads with positive energy. “Nelly” is one of the good guys in the coaching industry.

Dickinson State University (NAIA), Head Women's Basketball Coach
MEB Summers: 13
"MEB allowed me to grow tremendously as a young coach. I was able to find my “coaching voice” on the floor and network with a lot of great people in the basketball coaching community. MEB is a staple for many high school programs every summer. They come to your gym, work with your players, and build a curriculum around your program and your needs.
It is a great opportunity to have high-level coaches in your gym coaching your athletes. I am forever grateful for being a part of the MEB family and wouldn’t be the coach I am today without it!"
One of my go-to drills for years. Use it both with my college players and within our MEB camps.
Benefits:
•Each player can get reps at their own pace and level.
•Start simple and get really advanced.
•Build conditioning while keeping players on the move.
Drill of the Day: Sideline Series #1 "Ball Handling"
Are you taking your daily vitamins? Ball handling is a key component of any skill session or pre-practice warm-up. This drill can be done individually or with the entire team.
