I absolutely think D3 should go to a permanent “days” model to allow coaches some freedom to do this. These kids get year-round instruction and then come to college only to be restricted. D3 student-athletes deserve more IMO. #d3hoops
The worse part of basketball Twitter today…
Here is “Kansas horn set to shallow zipper, pocket dive, drift action”
(Shows video of a guard coming off a ball screen)
Who comes up with this terminology like it’s important??
@jlang20 Let’s go back to the start of this little back and forth. If you knew anything about my “decade of being an assistant” you would know how we play and then realize that it is certainly not “people like me” coming up with fancy terminology for stuff we never do.
@jlang20 Great! Send me your #. Learned that a long time ago man. Probably why I still do it. Lucky enough to still coach, raise a family in a great community, and build a career outside of bball at the same time. Never knew being an assistant for a decade was such a bad thing.
@jlang20 Nice, good spin back. But no, I’m actually all smiles here. I’m honored to have stuck in the mind of lang daddi! Glad my initial tweet struck such a nerve of yours you were compelled to take a shot at me. The only evidence of a 🤡 here today is you.
@jlang20 Ah the arrogance is repeated. As if you and I have ever talked about basketball. Certainly never have about recruiting or the “fruits of my labor.” Stop being a Twitter troll and find another way to make yourself feel important then attempting to call someone out you barely know
How about 👏to d3 athletes. Testing 2x/week, fully vaccinated, booster mandate compliant, playing for love of game and representing their school. Some no fans allowed & practice w/masks. Character kids.
