After hanging up her jersey, Bunny found a new calling—coaching. “Toward the end of my college career, I realized I loved helping my teammates see the game differently. That’s when I knew coaching was for me,” she explains. Despite the challenges of being a young coach, Bunny was determined to make an impact.

She began her career under the mentorship of two legendary coaches—@KenyaLanders at Corsicana and Andrea Robinson at DeSoto. These experiences shaped her coaching style, instilling in her the importance of preparation, discipline, and building strong relationships with her players. Bunny even contributed to DeSoto’s success, helping the team reach the state tournament twice and win it all in 2021.
