Opening Weekend is finally here! Due to the forecast in Kentucky, the Heidelberg Baseball team will open up their 2025 season in Westfield, Indiana on Sunday the 23rd against #14 Case Western Reserve and Monday the 24th against Hope College.

On a truly momentous day, Heidelberg officially broke ground on the $27.4M, fully donor-funded Student Athletics, Academic, and Recreation Center. When completed in the Fall of 2025, the facility will transform the campus for all students and engage the community. #GOBERG❤️🧡🖤

Big 💕to Jackson Powers! The @BergBaseball JR RHP earned @d3baseball All-Region honors for his performance in '24! This is in addition to being named @NCBWA D3 Pitcher of the Week, @d3baseball Team of the Week, & the @OHAthleticConf All-Conf 1st Team. Can't wait for his SR year!!

Congrats to Adam McVicker & Jackson Powers, both honored as @ABCA1945 All-Region players in '24. McVicker led @BergBaseball at .359 w/ 40 RBI & a @OHAthleticConf leading 5 OF assists. Powers ended 7-2 w/ 2 CG shutouts, running the staff w/ 68 IP in 11 starts. Well deserved!

After more than a week off due some bad ⛈️, @BergBaseball returns to action today for an OAC DH vs @wilmy_baseball. Come down to Peaceful Valley and support the Berg as we work to remain undefeated at home and in @OHAthleticConf play. First pitch at 1 PM!

After leading all of D3 baseball in DP/G in 23, @Bergbaseball is again in the top 5 in 24. To keep that title, everyday 6-4-3's aren't enough...so here is an 8-6-2-5 to add to the total! Back to it again this week at Manchester & Defiance, before a home OAC DH with Wilmington!

Since returning from posting a 6-3 record in Florida, @BergBaseball has run off a 4 game winning streak. A combination of timely hitting, excellent pitching, and sound defense has the Berg at a 12-4 record heading into conference play. Now it's time for some @OHAthleticConf ⚾️!!

Back on the '24 season with a quick look at the @BergBaseball road tilts (not including our sunny week with @Snowbirdbaseball). We begin right outside St Louis with a tough 3-game set before ✈️to FL. Then it's back north for some tough non-conference & OAC ⚾️. Day 1 is coming!

Many upgrades done & progressing for @BergBaseball. '22 saw the laying of the new turf in the Valley. CF Siggy will be retired prior to this season, and replaced with a Berg H batter's eye. And of course, construction has started on the epic Fieldhouse! Always moving forward!

Peacefully Valley has been tough for opponents, and 2023 was no exception. A 12-5 record down in the valley for @BergBaseball, including a 6 game home win streak that saw 75 runs scored! Here is who we have coming to visit in '24...can already hear the 🎶Rattlin' Bog playing!

@Bergbaseball is hosting our winter clinics on Sundays in January. Pitching/Catching is in Seiberling Gym at 5:00 pm, and Hitting is in the Hornemann Stadium Hitting Facility at 6:00 pm. Cost is $10 per person per hour. Show and go for some preseason work and DM with questions!
