I take everything personal and this summer was extremely important to me.

Didn’t get results I wanted which means I need to be better, just got to work harder so they have no choice but to open the doors these guys deserve!

Sometimes people have to learn the hard way. The train waits on no one, and yesterday’s price isn’t the same as today’s price!

QOTD:

“The strongest teams don't need everybody to be the same. They need everybody committed to the same standard.”

[Coach Ham @Coach__Ham]

Sometimes the best thing that can happen to a kid is a coach telling him a truth when others are too scared too! Happy someone said this to Shon because it’ll be the reason he has an amazing year this season, rooting for you!

Florida State head coach Luke Loucks' recruiting pitch to Shon Abaev in the transfer portal:

"Shon, you want to play in the NBA? I'm just telling you your efficiency is abysmal. Your shot selection is terrible. You don't guard anyone. You don't rebound. It seems like you're only interested in playing when the ball goes in the hoop. And the ball didn't go in the hoop."

Damn. 😭

All I got to say is that this kid has done everything from the end of last season until now to prove to coaches of the level he belongs to! Said he doesn’t playmake well enough multiple games this summer with 5 assists, said he doesn’t defend well enough guarded multiple D1 commits and out played them on both ends, keep coming up with excuses he will keep proving you guys wrong!

Brandon showed all summer that he is true floor spacer! Being able to knock down 3s at an ELITE clip and being able to defend. I think that everyone who is looking for a floor spacer who can play the 2-4 should be knocking at Brandon’s door!!!!

Absolutely killed it this summer showing that he could score it on all 3 levels and pick up from baseline to baseline. A guard who every coach should be reaching out about if they are in need of a PG for 2027!

Officially back at it Tuesday at 3pm, starting to get back in that mode! Long journey ahead of us that our culture has put us in position to do something we put in place 4 years ago!

Not surprised whatsoever! Kyler is an extremely hard worker who has been instilled with the right qualities to allow him to succeed, keep going Kyler always about the journey never the destination!

This is what it’s about when you’re trying to change a program and change a culture, nothing but respect for this coach!
