False information. D2 is an unbelievable level, but JUCO is built for players to transfer. It sets you up academically and athletically. You also have a coaching staff helping you transfer, not trying to talk you into staying.
NEWS: Detroit Mercy transfer Keshawn Fisher has committed to Winthrop, source tells @LeagueRDY.
The 6-foot-7 freshman guard averaged 5.5PPG and 2.2RPG this season. Repped by @gaschoharrison and @jshaughn_23 of @SHASportsAgency.
JUCO isn’t a backup plan. It’s a 1st OPTION.
JUCO is not for the weak though. It’s the proving ground.
•JUCO kids are highly sought after.
• You develop, you succeed and you proceed.
• Your stock rises after real reps.
The RIGHT JUCO will take care of you!

If you are a 2027 with zero D1 offers or high level D2 offers at this point there's really nothing good that can come by tagging D1 colleges on social media. They're not coming to watch and it's only going to discourage the schools who might be interested in you from continuing to recruit you. The transfer portal is overflowing with D1 talent and D2 players with college experience. Some D1 colleges aren't even getting out right now to recruit because they're fully in the portal. Spots are extremely limited at the D1 and D2 levels at this point for 2027s with most of the first priority offers being made. So it's a good idea to relish every NAIA/D3/JUCO look with the understanding that the higher level offers might not be coming. Private messages are the most effective way to communicate with college coaches and not discourage current coaches from continuing to recruit you.
