If you don’t have Emma Damron in your best guards in the Big Country, you should.
Damron gets the steal and collects it for points off TO.
Buckle up, we got a good one here.

4 reasons why I don't think Texas Tech will chase the CFP, or even the Big 12 title, in 2025.
#1: Tahj Brooks Is Gone:
In one game without Brooks last season, the Red Raiders got embarrassed by Washington State, 37-16.
Brooks was the model of consistency, rushing for over 100 yards in ALL 11 games he played in 2024. He scored a TD in 10 of 11 games. That's a massive loss that even the transfer portal can't fix.
#2: Road Schedule:
Tech only has 5 road games in 2025, but they are against 4 of the top 6 Big 12 defenses from 2024. Utah (#3), Houston (#2), Arizona St (#5), Kansas St (#6), and West Virginia.
#3: Offensive Line Concerns:
The Red Raider o-line wasn't great last season, and their top player and anchor, 4-year starting RT/LG Caleb Rogers, who started over 50 games dating back to 2020, is gone.
So is G Sterling Porcher (11 starts), who transferred to Vanderbilt, and LT Ty Buchanan (7 starts), who left for Arizona.
They've brought in LT Howard Sampson (North Carolina), LT Will Jados (Miami (OH)), and Hunter Zambrano (Illinois St) to join C Sheridan Wilson and G Davion Carter, while G Vinny Sciury should be healthy again after missing most of 2024 with a knee injury.
Still, there are a lot of question marks, and depth could be an issue.
#4: Defense:
Texas Tech gave up 34.8 points per game (only Oklahoma St and Purdue gave up more) and 461.5 yards per game (only Oklahoma St gave up more) in 2024.
They do get a pair of talented LBs back, including All-Big 12 First Team LB Jacob Rodriguez, who had 127 tackles, 5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and an INT.
However, they are hoping that their large flock of incoming transfers can help improve the defensive line and secondary, which has several holes to fill.
Prediction:
APBU: W
Kent St: W
Oregon St: W
@ Utah: L
@ Houston: L
Kansas: L
@ Arizona St: L
Oklahoma St: W
@ Kansas St: L
BYU: L
UCF: W
@ West Virginia: W
You know the answer, I know the answer and the American people know the answer... One of these programs is not invited to the party. One of these programs is the turd in the punch bowl at the country club.
How dare a program like #TexasTech play by the rules and think they can be a part of #CollegeFootball at the highest level. Know your role!

@8natties4patty@barstoolttu@OUBarstool Another "you're paying a player $1MM!" card.
Here is how much each of the remaining schools spends on softball outside of NIL (2023 was the most recent I could find):
OU: $6,580,000/yr
Texas: $3,420,000/yr
TTU: $2,390,000/yr
We just spent more wisely. Enjoy the offseason
Texas Tech lost this game on their own by missing free throws.
Florida should not have shot 14 more FT’s than Tech in the game the way both teams were attacking.
That 5 point swing with the overturned goaltend and phantom foul on the 3 turned out to be pretty big, I guess.
