I did not know Jeremiah very well. My one closest interaction with him was after a home victory where the band was walking off behind the stands. While I waited for Ryan, right next to me was Jeremiah Kelly high-fiving each and every band member and thanking them for a great performance. It was true leadership and classy when so many other players were rightfully celebrating with family and each other. He was taking that time to recognize the band. I told my son to aspire to be that kind of selfless captain for the team. You will be missed by so many Jeremiah — I wish I had the chance to know you further. 💔🥲
