Washington has had little success playing on the road in Green Bay. They haven’t won in Wisconsin in 37 years and they haven’t won at Lambeau in 39 years (they won at County Stadium in 1988 and at Lambeau in 1986). They are on a 6 game losing streak at Lambeau beginning in 2001 (due to a scheduling quirk in the old days the teams didn’t play at all between 1989-2000). In those 6 losses, the games have not been particularly close with the Packers winning by average of 16 points per game. Can Washington reverse course Thursday night?

Definition of a True Chief. I come from a long line of Chiefs, there is a difference between being on the Blackfeet Tribal Business Council = BTBC members & being a Chief for the People. Blackfeet Nation’s website state’s that “The council consists of nine members who are elected by tribal members to serve four-year terms year terms. Terms are staggered, and elections are held in June of every even numbered year.”. Among these nine members have their own vote on who will be Chairman, Vice Chairman and Secretary. To be considered a Chief, you have to be born into it, you basically have to be honored by your predecessors. You have to learn about our history from the old one’s. For example and for what I’m about to say is Documented and can be found in our Tribal Records, Newspapers at the time and even now, media, National Geographic articles and the like. White Calf Chieftainship…My Bloodline. We have Chief White Calf who was involved in leading our people through very dark times, my White Calf family was involved in the U.S. Treaties, White Calf signatures are on these Treaty records. Chief’s and Blackfeet Leaders, Chief White Calf, Chief James Last Gun White Calf Sr., Chief James White Calf Jr. who bestowed the family Chieftainship to my great uncle Chief Earl Old Person (pictured with President Reagan) Earl was raised to be a leader, he was taught by my grandfather’s, his parents and was fluent in our Blackfeet language in which he interpreter for our Leaders. When Chief Earl was little, he got to join the Cub Scout’s of America where he got to wear his traditional regalia. Like a True Chief, Chief Earl Old Person has carried on our White Calf Chieftainship by meeting United States Presidents from Eisenhower to Obama. The longest running Chairman & Chief of our modern day. After Chief Earl’s passing in 2021, the Chieftainship goes back to my mother so we hold this White Calf Chieftainship until we find someone to bestow the family Chieftainship. To be a Chief, you must be around your people, live with your people, even after your time, the family must hold on to this Honor because you have to be there when Honoring, Special events held in the Chiefs Honor. Our main Pow Wow arena is named after Chief Earl, the Blackfeet people along with the current BTBC (Council), the town of Browning MT named Chief Earl Old Person Rd. There are Indian Relay’s and Rodeo’s, special’s held in his honor. Library of Congress have records of the Blackfeet Tribe and who the Chiefs & Leaders. We have a Mountain named White Calf Mountain. The title of Chief is not to be said lightly…a True Chief is Honored by the people. Like I mentioned before…I Come From a Long Line of Chiefs. God Bless
