Quincy Mitchell📷 is a fantastic running back at Forrest and is coming off one of the best statistical seasons that we've ever seen in Tennessee high school football. In 12 games, he carried the ball 296 times for 2,919 yards and a whopping 36 touchdowns, while even offering some production as a pass catcher, totaling 189 yards and three scores. The rising junior one of the best players in Tennessee, but is somehow still undervalued when people talk about the best rushers heading into 2026.

He is a compact player, standing 5-foot-6 and weighing 178 pounds, with a thick, athletic frame that allows him to dominate at this level. Mitchell is one of the best pure athletes at this position, posting a 4.5-second 40-yard dash time, a 38” vertical, a 4.2-second shuttle time and plenty of strength. The 2028 prospect has excellent vision, nice burst and top-tier explosiveness that allow him to take any play for a house call.
Mitchell is a powerful runner who is extremely tough to bring down. Most of the time, it takes multiple guys to tackle him, and even then, he can break through and find paydirt. He needs to grow physically, but he is easily one of the top players in Tennessee, regardless of what he may lack in size.
