I’m a coach who works full time in academy football and have achieved this with a stutter - this is something I am very proud of due to the simple fact that what you say and how you say it is vital in youth development IMO 🗣

I had similar experiences with my parents - the consistent advice was “slow down” and “just think before you speak”

Looking back that obviously wasn’t why I was stuttering however they weren’t educated around speech so no blame whatsoever
