Grateful for the opportunity to compete and learn at the BethuneCookman Football Camp. Thank you to the coaches for sharing their knowledge and helping me improve my game. I’ll continue to apply everything I learned and keep working.#AGTG#BethuneCookman#Football#StudentAthlete
the most underrated NFL training technique nobody at the HS level is doing:
contrast training.
dead simple:
heavy squats → box jumps
heavy bench → med ball throws
heavy deadlifts → broad jumps
the heavy load wakes up every fast twitch fiber.
the explosive movement teaches them to fire violently.
zero extra time. youre already lifting.
twice a week → your first step gets violent
guaranteed.
Why the Zercher Squat for Football?
1. Superior Anterior Core and Torso Stability (Critical for Blocking, Tackling, and Maintaining Posture Under Contact)
2. Improved Leg and Back Strength with Direct Transfer to Athletic Performance
3. Reduced Spinal Compression with Built-In Safety and Accessibility
4. Enhanced Upper Back, Traps, and Grip
5. Better Specificity to Football Movement Patterns and Force Production
As an Athletic Director, you better learn quickly that if you don’t understand your school’s foundation is academics, you will constantly face internal struggles with teachers and other administrators.
At the same time, the best schools also understand that athletics is the front porch of the school. It is often the first thing prospective families see and experience.
When schools intentionally invest in both academics and athletics, everyone benefits. Strong academics build the mission of the school, while strong athletic programs build community, school pride, visibility, and relationships that extend far beyond the playing field.
The schools that truly excel are the ones that stop viewing academics and athletics as competing priorities and instead recognize that they are partners in creating an exceptional student experience.
Great schools don’t choose one over the other. They commit to both.
One of my favorite parts of "Go to Work with Will Stein"
"You are the tip of the spear of this organization. Everybody's families, everyone's careers is in your hands"
Every Quarterback in the country, at every level, should hear this👂

One thing I’ve learned from watching high school athletes go through the recruiting process: it takes real courage to show up at college camps.
It’s easy to sit back and wonder if you’re good enough. It’s much harder to put yourself out there, compete against the best, and let coaches evaluate you.
As adults, I don’t think we give these kids enough credit. They’re stepping into uncomfortable situations, risking failure, and chasing a dream in front of strangers.
That willingness to bet on yourself is a skill that will serve them far beyond football.
Whether they leave with an offer, a conversation, or just a lesson learned, they’re already winning by having the courage to show up.
Keep going. Keep competing. Keep putting yourself out there. The people who grow the most are usually the ones willing to be uncomfortable. Proud of you boys @cam_hatfield_@ryanpalmer2027@jstremick_22@bobbywaltos@JSpig18@PJ11Sweeney keep showing up, that opportunity is coming.
If you’re a really good basketball player who is 6’0-6’3 with no offers heading into senior year. Go play WR,DB this fall and see how much attention you get from football coaches if you ball out!!!!!!!!
