In celebration of the 555th birthday of Guru Nanak Dev ji, members of Houston's Sikh community made a bountiful donation. They donated canned fruit and beans, cereal, chickens, ground meat, and more. Sharing is one of the 3 Pillars of Sikhism, along with peace and love.

celebrated on the fourth Saturday of
October each year.

first day of services at EAC's new Client
Choice Food Pantry at Presbyterian
School's Outdoor Education Campus.
25 client families from New Hope
Housing received groceries, alleviating
hunger for some of our Houston
neighbors in need.

The Emergency Aid Coalition hosted another successful Pop-Up Grocery Event on Tuesday, August 2th. Every month, the EAC partners with Second Servings to provide an opportunity for nearly 100 EAC clients to shop a wide variety of food items at no charge to them!

For individuals experiencing poverty, fresh fruit can be a rare treat . But EAC provides clients with a monthly Pop-Up Grocery Event offering an array of products Through this partnership with Second Servings, EAC clients can savor the sweet taste of summer!

Another Summer Youth Group from South Main Baptist Church packed rice, beans and hygiene bags for EAC clients!

The EAC sandwich crew made 600 peanut butter & jelly sandwiches in
under 3 hours! The sack lunches were delivered to various locations throughout the Third Ward to
ensure that Houston ISD students wouldn't
go hungry while school is not in session.
