The South West is one of the regions with the smallest percentage of ‘other than white’ ethnic groups, with 92% of the population classified as white British, 2% as ‘Asian’, 1% Black, 1.5% ‘Mixed’, 3.5% ‘white other’ and 0.3% in ‘other’ ethnic groups.
