Herschend buying Palace is HUGE, especially for Kennywood. Great acquisition by them, Kennywood should see some improved budgeting for high ticket attractions. Exciting!
Is Six Flags going to hold this new standard of B&M against them like they’ve been holding their grudge against Intamin and RMC for their problems? Or are they too buddy-buddy? I’ll hang up and listen.
Might be a hot take, but I actually wouldn’t be mad one bit if the Bat at Kings Island got removed, so much room around the coaster both behind banshee and towards the front gate that could be used going forward for multiple additions with the removal of Bat! Sorry!
As part of a multi-year expansion, #Carowinds will debut two new family rides in 2025 & a record-breaking water ride in 2026.
As we evolve, we'll be retiring Nighthawk, Scream Weaver & Drop Tower. Goodbyes can be hard, but we're excited about the future.

👀 a 2025 coaster would certainly push all of that negativity around TT2 to the side for me, unlike most I’m hoping it’s NOT a water coaster. Also, the theme doesn’t fit frontier town/trail at all.. so I’m looking elsewhere
I feel as if this is a complete waste of prime real estate for another true standout coaster, and that disappointments me. I do think this is cool however.
An exhilarating adventure across the German countryside awaits guests in 2025 when riders become the beast on Busch Gardens’ all-new family-friendly inverted roller coaster.
Now through September 25, guests can select their favorite name here: https://t.co/1C9ohh0t74
In 2025, Kings Island’s Soak City introduces new ways to slide, play and stay cool with the addition of RiverRacers, the only dual-racing water coaster in Ohio, and the new Splash River Junction kids play area. 🌊
🏁 On RiverRacers, a conveyor belt launch plunges side-by-side rafts down a 33-foot, 47-degree first drop at 30 mph. Riders get drenched by water propelling them upward through twists and turns, a high-banking slingshot and a final mega drop before crossing the finish line.
☀️ The wading pools of Splash River Junction include Salamander Sliders, a set of seven water slides with gentle slopes and turns; and Bluegill Lagoon, an ol’ fashioned swimmin’ hole.

I see people hating on it being premier rides, but I disagree with that opinion. This is going to be a home run addition and I’m hoping to see more of these rather than Mack launch coasters added!
🚨 COMING IN 2025! 🔥 ❄️ Face nature’s wrath on AlpenFury, Canada’s longest, tallest and fastest launch coaster. Coming in 2025, the ride blasts 50 metres high out the top of Wonder Mountain and features nine breathtaking inversions.

Looking at it, with the removal of Invertigo, The amphitheater, Congo falls, and the bat… you can probably fit 3(!) steel coasters in the front of the park. Yeah, I’d prefer to see a new mega wooden coaster in the vortex plot/woods
I’d rather not see a “Beast 2.0” at Kings Island, however a 184 foot, 73 MPH new wooden coaster 🔥. Infinity coaster would be neat, lighting package would be the best part of it imo. Maybe they can do that and save space for another coaster / multiple flat rides with that.
I think the worlds tallest and fastest wooden coaster would be the best fit there. They can do another (or two) major steel coaster in the front of the park… maybe even the infinity. Imagine those lights up front over the front gate!
Late night thought: why not use the old Crypt building at Kings Island for a new indoor coaster. KI’s done a great job at theming stuff recently, why not go for a bigger project and add a sick family coaster. Spinner like Laff Trakk at Hershey with a different theme?
