A massive rebuild of Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom could be on the way. Track, queue, and load stations are all expected to be replaced. A possible announcement could come at D23 in August 2026.
@realitybites555@RCXcyclopedia It's all good! It's fun to talk about what could happen to the coaster. I hope it gets saved and moved. I haven't had a chance to ride it yet! - Mike
@realitybites555@RCXcyclopedia To be clear, of course any ride can be moved. It it’s expensive though to break down carefully, transport and then build again. And you need space that matches the original layout. It’s totally do-able. Just expensive.
We're back with an all-new episode and a TON of news! EB will be setting off fireworks!!! Watch the show live and chat with other listeners right now! https://t.co/6uVLXV3k12
Video: Epic Universe on its first anniversary. However, as if the concept model came to life!
This a version of the "tilt shift" camera effect where scenes look like stop-motion animation/toys. Made with After Effects last couple of weeks. Standard camera methods, no AI used.

This is going to be interesting on a personal level. I wasn't alive for the moon landing, but I remember where I was for Halloween in 1985 and New Years Eve in 1999.
This will be the first time the early scenes in Carousel of Progress are set in my own time period.
Disney will overhaul Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress at Walt Disney World, updating all scenes to new time periods, moving through the 1969 moon landing, Halloween 1985, New Year’s Eve 1999, and a new far-future finale.
@kevinwelch YES! I'd like to see more parks merchandise that I'd be proud to wear or hang on the walls of my home. Parks should look at @madetothrill as an example.
Be on the show! Here's our interactive topic for this week:
What is the ride that made you a coaster or theme park person? We want to hear about the specific ride and the specific day.
Put your answers here and we'll use them on the show.
@OpenMothersMale@UnleashedVegas RIght! We would have totally bought the Fraidy Cat ticket to go in, get a sense of the vibe, have a drink and then come back another time.
So, it was a no-go at @UnleashedVegas . We gave it a shot, but they said we needed to buy tickets two hours before closing. It seemed empty…so we were surprised they didn’t want a bunch of paying customers for an hour and 45 minutes. Maybe next time. Very Un-Vegas.
