Not all companies suck as hard as others, and not all companies suck in the same ways, but all companies do suck no matter what. They’re run by humans, after all

I am an Apple user so I do know their ecosystem, but I got the products that I got for very specific reasons, not because of image or Apple’s legacy

@tvppro @Jerrycan09 @imparkerburton That is true, and they have been doing some amazing health related things recently, they also hate upgrade potential of Macs, they upcharge memory upgrades like they’re made of gold, and they refuse to acknowledge when their products have problems until it becomes a legal problem

Its cool tech and all, but the price was definitely too absurdly high for mass adoption, aside from all of the other flaws

I don’t necessarily hate the formfactor, but its definitely VirtualBoy level niche

@Sania_Javedd I am curious about the airpods max but not curious enough to buy them. I have a version of everything except the airpods. I might get the normal airpods one day, but I dont really need them

My Apple pencil however is a knockoff, which is certainly an experience

@asherdipps I use it much more often than I thought I would. I find it a lot more convenient than having the camera app on my homescreen, and I sometimes even use it as a shutter button

@Arcardus @thecomputerclan Adobe is a terrible company and people shouldn’t have to depend on them to get their work done. There is nearly always an alternative to Adobe programs, even on Windows

@thecomputerclan Honestly, I would go Linux. Theres ways to ease into it, like loading Linux on a side laptop and getting used to it first. Theres even programs like Davinci Resolve that have native Linux versions (though I have had trouble getting it to work last time I checked)

@Long2008ml_VN I only got used to gesture nav bc I wanted to switch to iPhone. If I had never gotten an iPhone, I would still be using the button nav

(imo Android gesture nav feels like ass)

@designbypepo I think all phones should be able to do this, especially if manufacturers keep insisting on not making <6 inch phones, however, I found Samsung’s implementation was somewhat useful and buggy and somewhat unreliable. Some apps didnt support it at all, I dont miss it on iPhone
