In its founding years Israel absorbed millions of refugees and immigrants from around the world.

Holocaust survivors. Jews forced out of Arab countries. Jews from Ethiopia. Jews from the Soviet Union.

They were not kept as refugees:
They became citizens. They became Israelis.

UNRWA's statement on the termination of 70 employees, while blaming the victim, Israel, and without even mentioning the word "Hamas", is a cynical cover-up.

The responsibility to purge terrorism lies solely with the UN, yet Hamas membership remains simply acceptable within UNRWA's ranks.

By harboring terrorists and letting its facilities serve as Hamas headquarters, @UNRWA has become an arm of Hamas.

The Prime Minister’s Office:
President Trump spoke this evening with Prime Minister Netanyahu regarding the emerging memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Iran to enter into negotiations.

Even though Israel is not a party to the memorandum of understanding, the Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for President Trump's commitment that the final agreement at the conclusion of negotiations will include the removal of enriched material, the dismantling of enrichment infrastructure, limits on missile production, and the cessation of Iran's support for its terrorist proxies in the region.

Israel welcomes the joint statement by 22 nations exposing the Iranian regime’s lethal plotting and terrorist activities from Europe to Australia to North America.

Israel's diplomatic horizons continue to expand.
Since 2025, Israel has opened new embassies in Moldova, Zambia, Estonia and Fiji, announced a new embassy in Slovenia, restored diplomatic relations with Bolivia, and established relations with Somaliland. These developments reflect a growing recognition that cooperation in innovation, healthcare, agriculture, water management, cybersecurity and trade benefits all nations.

We appreciate the concern of the distinguished governments about the humanitarian access in Gaza, despite the fact that the concerns and claims in the statement are completely unfounded and detached from reality.

There are immense amounts of humanitarian aid entering the Gaza Strip. Since the ceasefire, more than 1.6 million tons of food have entered the Gaza Strip, with an average of 600 humanitarian aid trucks entering the Strip each day.

There are dozens of international aid organizations operating in the Strip that handle the aforementioned humanitarian aid. The registration process for these international organizations is designed to ensure that their activities are not exploited to promote terrorism, as was the case with UNRWA. In this regard, we refer governments to the USAID report published less than a week ago concerning more than 100 UNRWA employees found to have links to Hamas.

The registration process for international organizations, including the need to ensure that their activities are not exploited for terrorism, was reviewed and approved by Israel's Supreme Court, whose independence democratic nations are expected to respect.

There is no room for double standards in the face of terror. Those who rush to criticize Israel's legitimate actions of self-defense, yet remain silent when terror strikes, lose all moral legitimacy to participate in this discussion.

This is exactly the kind of dialogue I hoped to build when I arrived in Slovakia.
