I have watched every US politician worth voting for criticize the UK over the past two years.

They have pointed out how the government punishes political dissidents and people exercising what should be their God-given right to free speech.

The UK that we made the extradition treaty with all those years ago was a very different place.

Everybody must have known that sooner or later they would use this tool to reach their hand over the Atlantic and attempt to pluck US citizens from their home for the things they say.

They cannot confess that the arrest is punishment for words said, so they dress it up as something else. In this case an ancient “rape” that allegedly happened 14 years ago.

When discerning credibility all we need to ask ourselves is this - Are the people the UK is trying to grab critics of the UK government?

We are as a matter of fact, the loudest in the world.

There is no universe in which the upper echelons of the United States don’t know what is going on here.

I was promised that after 60 days locked up the UK was going to be providing the “evidence” against me.

It has been 70 days and nobody has shown us any evidence.

So I guess the plan was just wait for it to fall out of the news cycle and leave me in this cage indefinitely?
