@StagecoachEScot Thank you very much, quite concerned as there are no traffic lights there, only tram signals which are activated only when a tram is there. As well there is excessive pedestrian traffic.
@StagecoachEScot Hi there, just a quick question. What is one of your buses doing on the tram only section of South St. Andrew Street, and going through a cycle lane? (City of Edinburgh) Bus is YN64AKV at 1628 today.
@trumpetbum98@BobFunkhouse2@ScotRail The line to Leven is cool and all but its only a drop in the massive bucket of railway expansion that needs to happen if the SNP want to meet their carbon reduction goals
@trumpetbum98@BobFunkhouse2@ScotRail and its their fault there is fuck all expansion of our rail network, countless blocked schemes including the Edinburgh + Glasgow airport rail links, reopening of Alloa to Dunfermline via Kincardine/Clackmannan/Valleyfield as well as the extension of the borders line to Carlisle
@LesTapo66@AJUK29@GBNEWS you might be correct actually, as when I initially looked at the video it looked like it was coming from a motor, looking back it seems to be the middle of the carriage
fuck knows what it could be then, part come loose? hit something and its gotten stuck underneath?
@LesTapo66@AJUK29@GBNEWS think a short on either the contact shoe or motors is more likely, and its not as easy as waiting for the overload to trip and carrying on, especially when the motor/shoe is already on fire. all that safety stuff has to come first sometimes believe it or not
@OllySmail @CeoofHastings @JamesHoyland6 @AJUK29@GBNEWS the way 3 phase AC motors work is the acceleration and braking heats them up more than running at high speeds. up here in scotland, the class 385s encounter the issue of heat on the cathcart lines, hence why they appear on there so little
@spaceship_nova @Marc_Escens @zenbaae @elizableu it has been a very long standing problem at twitter, there are reports of this content being left unmoderated for years, ever since I created my first account in 2017 there have been many reports
@JohnDalton6011@NetworkRailSCOT yeah, it did
Was on a move from yoker to shields, because the argyle is shut, it had to use the link between coatbridge sunnyside and whifflet
