@donwinslow At the same time, I’m uninterested in supporting @elonmusk’s actions that allow this place to devolve into an echo chamber full of right wing conspiracists. The allowance of bigots and liars to have a voice here (e.g. Ye, Trump, Project Veritas) makes it a worse place for all.

@kairyssdal This sentence struck me: “FTX had $16 billion in customer assets” of which they apparently LENT $10B to another entity?! FTX didn’t HAVE anything; CUSTOMERS had $16 billion in assets held at FTX. Outrageous if accurate.

I never understood why anyone cares about the #bluecheck anyway. Why in the world would anyone pay for it? In fact, if you’re paying to have it, doesn’t that dilute your message, since you just become an advertiser?
