In Evanston, Illinois, witness Ryan Garton saw ICE agents punched a Black U.S. citizen and pinned him to the ground as he pleaded: “I’m a citizen, leave me alone.”

His crime. Being black. He ended up hospitalized with injuries to his head, neck and teeth. Bystanders stayed to help after agents left.

DHS says he refused to identify himself. Citizens ABSOLUTELY don not have to prove they are citizens.

A 10-year-old girl was kidnapped in broad daylight. Hours later, two garbage collectors saw something that stopped them in their tracks.

It was the silver car police were searching for, sitting alone in the middle of a field. Dion Merrick and Brandon Antoine realized the missing girl could still be inside, so they pulled their garbage truck across the only way out, blocked the car from leaving and called 911.

For the next few minutes, they stayed there with the suspect trapped while police raced to the scene. When officers arrived, they rushed in, arrested the kidnapper and found 10-year-old Jalissa alive inside.

Dion and Brandon were just doing their normal route that morning. But because they were paying attention and refused to let that car leave, a missing 10-year-old girl made it home safely.

Some stories deserve to travel just as far as the bad news does. This is one of them.
