Last year I left the cod scene abruptly and only told a few people what was happening. I wanted to let everyone know I am okay, my family is OK. We just had a massive scare as my son was diagnosed with Epilepsy. Medicine has been reactive. Seizure free over a year now.

@_Dizzys Yep. Proper education on seizures and keeping calm but acting with a sense of urgency can be lifesaving in moments like these. I have an entirely different understanding of how seizures work and what to do when someone has one now. It's useful knowledge I hope I never need.

@_Dizzys Unironically yes, if I had experience beforehand I could have reacted in a better way. Also the fact we could have had a basis to start with in treatment rather than going in blind. I'm happy we have the medical research and expertise that can allow kids to live normally with it.

@_Dizzys Hands down scariest time of my life. Being unprepared I could only assume i was watching my child die in front of me. Thankfully this wasn't the case but the absolute terror of it was unmatched in anything I've ever witnessed. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone.
