A little code. A lot of chaos. 🖤

[CodeAndChaos @CodeAndCha0s]

weekend project idea: automate that one repetitive task you keep saying you'll automate.

you already know which one.

[CodeAndChaos @CodeAndCha0s]

what's one thing you shipped this week that made you happy?

[CodeAndChaos @CodeAndCha0s]

before a friday deploy, make sure you know how to roll back.

future-you will appreciate that particular kind of preparation.

opening one documentation tab somehow turns into twelve more.

tiny UX detail worth checking: when someone opens your app for the first time, is it obvious what to click next?

empty states do a lot of work.

[CodeAndChaos @CodeAndCha0s]

which AI coding tool are you actually opening every day lately?

[CodeAndChaos @CodeAndCha0s]

what brought your first users: a post, a friend, search, or something unexpected?

[CodeAndChaos @CodeAndCha0s]

when someone says 'looks good' about your app, ask what they'd actually use it for.

the answer might tell you more than the compliment.

@FilipPanoski crazy number, what is your secret?

[CodeAndChaos @CodeAndCha0s]

signups mean someone was curious. someone coming back to use your app? that's a much more interesting signal.

@transformapso let's go

[CodeAndChaos @CodeAndCha0s]

@claudiamiclea hey! let's connect!

[CodeAndChaos @CodeAndCha0s]

what tiny dev tool has saved you the most time lately? the small utilities deserve some love.

[CodeAndChaos @CodeAndCha0s]

a good app name is nice. a name someone can spell after hearing it once? even nicer.

stopping mid-task? leave yourself one sentence with the next step.

tomorrow-you shouldn't have to solve a mystery to reopen the project.

[CodeAndChaos @CodeAndCha0s]

@thsottiaux finally! thanks!

Fellow resetters, heads up that we're working on expanding the family of frontier models that power dots, including GPT-6 Astra and GPT-6.1 Terra and some others in the future. Terra brings speed and a nice personality upgrade, and will help us bring dots to more people.
