⚠️ Heads up for developers.
I was contacted for a “junior dev job”.
As part of the hiring process they asked me to review a private GitHub repo and run it locally.
It looked completely normal.
Until I opened tailwind.config.js.
Me uní a All In @escuelitamaker para construir CotiEstima
I burned all my Claude Code tokens in 40 minutes.
Not because the tool is bad.
Because I was using it wrong.
Here’s what I learned after a few days actually building with it 💻☄️
My biggest takeaway:
AI doesn’t replace knowing how to program.
It amplifies it.
But only if you understand what you’re accepting from it.
Before/after of my portfolio ☝️
Interesting part:
Cursor feels like a senior developer helping you code.
Claude Code feels like a full engineering team reviewing architecture in parallel.
They’re not competitors.
They’re complementary.
I used that workflow to redesign my portfolio from scratch.
The old one was built when I first discovered “vibe coding”… and it showed 😅
This time I even integrated GSAP animations and proper frontend structure
Once I understood that, everything changed.
Instead of replacing tools…
I combined them.
Claude Code → architecture, structure, clean patterns
Cursor → continuous implementation when limits appear
And suddenly productivity skyrocketed
