The Weirdest Spider-Man 3 Plot Hole ๐ตโ๐ซ
Does anyone else remember the scene in Spider-Man 3 where Peter gets attached to the symbiote while he's sleeping?
Something about that scene has always confused me. Peter isn't wearing his mask when the symbiote first bonds with him, but the black suit somehow already has the classic Spider-Man mask design. How would the symbiote even know what his mask looks like?
What's even weirder is that when Eddie Brock bonds with the symbiote later, the mask looks completely different. So why did it copy Spider-Man's look in the first place?
Another thing I've never understood is how Peter gets rid of it. Earlier in the movie, he takes the black suit off like it's normal clothing and even leaves it in his closet. But when he finally decides to get rid of the symbiote, it suddenly acts like it's fused to his body and has to be torn off painfully.
If he could remove the suit before, couldn't he have just taken it off and thrown it away? That part never really made sense to me.
๐จ MARVEL ISNโT READY TO BRING BACK KILGRAVE JUST YET
Charlie Cox says heโd love to see David Tennant return as Kilgrave in the MCU, but not through the comic storyline that wipes Daredevilโs identity from everyoneโs memory.
After the Born Again Season 2 finale, Matt Murdockโs secret is finally out, and Marvel seems determined to keep it that way.
Brad Winderbaum and Dario Scardapane both hinted that a citywide Purple Man mind-control reset isnโt on the table.
The focus now is on exploring the fallout, not undoing it.
Marvelโs creative team believes Matt being publicly exposed opens up far more interesting stories for Season 3.
That also makes a Kilgrave comeback much harder, especially after Jessica Jones killed him and Marvel wants to avoid repeating old Netflix-era beats.
Fans may want the reunion, but right now Marvel appears more interested in moving these characters forward than bringing the past back.
THE RUSSOS MAY HAVE DROPPED A HUGE DOOMSDAY HINT ๐
- The Russo brothers may have hinted at a major storyline for Avengers: Doomsday.
- AGBO and the Russos have been posting teasers related to Doctor Doom and Latveria.
- At the South by Southwest London event, they featured a cafรฉ named Doom Latveria.
- The cafรฉ menu reportedly includes what appears to be the first look at official Latverian runes.
- One drink on the menu is named Fortunov.
- In Marvel lore, Fortunov is the ruler of Latveria before Doctor Doom.
- Doctor Doom eventually overthrows Fortunov and takes control of Latveria.
- In The Fantastic Four: First Steps, the ruler of Latveria is absent from the world leaders' meeting.
- This could suggest that Doctor Doom had already removed Fortunov from power by that point.
- The Latverian flag seen in The Fantastic Four: First Steps appears different from the flag shown in the Russos' recent teasers.
- This may indicate that Doctor Doom is actively reshaping Latveria and establishing his rule during the events of the film.
- The theory concludes that by the post-credit scene of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Doctor Doom may have already completed his takeover of Latveria.
๐จ SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY MAY FINALLY FIX A 7-YEAR MCU MYSTERIO MYSTERY
Spider-Man: Brand New Day could end up answering one of the MCUโs strangest continuity questions dating back to Far From Home.
Back in 2019, Mysterio casually called the MCUโs reality Earth-616, even though he was later exposed as a fraud who supposedly made everything up.
Then Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness confirmed that the MCU really is Earth-616, turning Mysterioโs guess into a very suspicious coincidence.
Now fans think Brand New Day could reveal Quentin Beck knew more than he ever admitted.
Maybe his Multiverse story was partly true, or maybe his connection to Stark involved a Variant from another universe.
Marvel has a reason to revisit it too, especially with Multiverse threads still hanging around before Avengers: Doomsday.
If this theory pays off, Mysterio stops looking like a lucky liar and starts looking like someone who was hiding the truth in plain sight.
