People don’t really talk about or glorify the actual transition period. It’s always “here’s how to change your life in 6 months” but they never discuss the grueling hours of work and doubting yourself that happens in that time, and sometimes it feels like forever.

Fun LinkedIn fact: if you want to be one of the first applicants for a job, you can narrow the list down to the most recently posted using the date filter. Not as well-known is, if you go under “all filters”, you can select jobs that have less than 10 applicants. Happy hunting!
