Hon. Siraj Ali, the Minister of State for Works, is this evening inspecting the Koboko–Yumbe–Moyo Road Project (103.08 km).

Funded by the International Development Association (IDA) - World Bank and under construction by Zhongmei Engineering Group Ltd, the project is 51.16% complete and is expected to be completed in June 2027.

The road will improve connectivity in the West Nile sub-region, support refugee-hosting communities, and enhance cross-border trade.

The LC V Chairperson of Koboko District, Ashiraf Mambo, commended the project's progress, noting that travel time to Moyo has reduced from over two hours to about 40 minutes, even before completion.
