After having access for a while these r the AI tools I end up using to code in order:
1. GitHub CoPilot, 2. ChatGPT, 3. AWS CodeWhisperer. What about you?
While the news of Twitter firing ~75% of staff has made huge waves, there are companies which have shrunk with similar headcount size which we hear much less about.
Those which over hired but their business model doesn’t work. They just do these layoffs more granular & quiet.
Looks like the first open source equivalent of ChatGPT has arrived: https://t.co/4vQ83pcX2H

Software engineering can also mean:
- Drawing quite a few diagrams
- Not coding at all for a week or two
- Constantly thinking and discussing
- Throwing away a lot of what you created
- Writing only 10 lines of code and deleting thousands afterward
