According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, the word can also describe a person who depends on or lives off others without giving anything useful in return.

... none of the most common definitions I've seen require the thing to be a different species.

Every child is technically a parasite up to a certain age I guess unless the parents "get something out of it", but that could be defined in many ways ... some just wnat a family so are getting something out of it, others like the mini-me company so technically get something out of it, many women just like being pregnant so technically get someting out of it.

Guilty! ... premeditated murder is not something we can excuse with hormones after 100 years of women saying they can control them and therefore want equality.

This discussion is over, either they want equality or the US should consider her not guilty and immediately repeal the 19th and refuse to let women on jury's any more.

The experts didn't testify that she was without a doubt suffering from PPS/PPD, one from what I recall said that they couldn't because the industry didn't have a clear definition of what they were dealing with agreed by their own governing body.
