According Mash, Ukraine is via drones mining forests. So people collecting mushrooms are at risk of having a foot blown off, or being killed.

Since I moved to Russia (2021), I've lived near different massive forests where I walked my dogs without seeing people most days. In mushroom season that changed, and I'd see many people-- families, individuals, elderly men and women--in the forest collecting mushrooms.

The victims of these mines will be such civilians, mushroom foraging, not military:

"...Ukrainian military personnel are dropping IMB-1 mines from "Vampire" type drones into forests and woodlands. Each mine contains TNT or C-4, plus 700 shrapnel balls, with an effective damage radius of up to one meter. The mine can detonate when equipment or a person with metal parts on their clothing or shoes approaches, or it can detonate upon impact. The operational time is up to 30 days, after which the "Houston" mine self-destructs.

In the Bryansk region, near the city of Zhukovka, a 47-year-old mushroom picker was killed when he stepped on such a mine. The authorities of the Kursk, Belgorod, Kaluga, and Voronezh regions are warning their citizens not to go into the forest and to end the mushroom season."
