take a Java/SQL course on Udemy for the next few months or practice doing front end projects with Vue, or practice game dev/C# and goof around.
thereโs just not enough hours in the day. I want a job in tech but making a decision on which job and which path to take is so blurred

so yeah, if anyone out there: plays actively FFXIV, needs a coding buddy, doesn't really know what they wanna do, maybe wanna learn to build a plugin for the game or smth, is also lost like me.. hmu ๐๐
I've struggled a lot over the last year & a half trying to figure out exactly what I want to do and where I wanted to go with learning to code. The Bootcamp I attended was cool and expensive but afterwards I just felt really lost on what to do next.
but again, this is why I think the bootcamp was bad for me because I see some of these problems and I'm like "WTF I've never even encountered anything remotely close to ANY of this" so imposter syndrome is REAL strong there and I just give up after a few minutes of feeling stupid

- To stay confined to a certain "lifestyle" because that's how others feel you have to be. Shouldn't affect me but it does and I've always been realistic about goals and expectations of myself. I just want to make cool things and have fun but MAN it's so hard ๐
I've been thinking about trying to build a plugin for FFXIV since I've been consumed by that lately and it would be cool to meld two things that I enjoy together. At least I have a tiny amount of experience with C# and Unity programming from the few months I was learning
but again it feels like such an overwhelming task to jump back into that. Trying to find the motivation has always been the hardest part of programming for me. I don't like the whole "have to live, eat, breath programming" mentality. I'm too indecisive and interested in too much
