@TownSquareMan@LibertyCappy It's not uncommon for some people to vote both ways on a ballot with the idea that legislation will stall, effectively keeping the status quo without rocking the boat one way or the other.
@denimReset@elonmusk@magajcs@mayemusk@bot That may be true. But even then, sometimes it just won't happen because sadly we've turned into who can fundraise and spend the most. If the odds of winning are very minimal, they won't waste the money running in that area. And sometimes, the platform is bigger than the candidate
@denimReset@elonmusk@magajcs@mayemusk@bot So, you'd rather force a party to run just to be humiliated publicly? Why do you think some areas simply don't have a party from each side in every election?
@greatn26959@rawsalerts Test their DNA. Then test the DNA of northeast asians. While you're at it test the DNA of Inuit people. That doesn't negate the fact that Europes colonized the continent, they did. Not really Jewish people though. The British, French, Spanish did and succeeded, obviously.
@greatn26959@rawsalerts Quite the contrary, frankly. Filipinos were present in modern California in 1587. The guy you likely refered to, landed in modern North Carolina in 1585. There's no evidence that he was Ashkenazi, but he was Jewish. Communal life didn't begin until the 1600s in New Amsterdam.
@Billionaire_33@Devon_Eriksen_ First two words of the 14th, "All persons". Not slaves, children of slaves, descendants of slaves, etc. They carefully and meticulously chose those specific words, "All persons".
@TownSquareMan@jessesingal Do the same 8 years apply to non citizens? If yes, (although I doubt it) that's also interesting and potentially valuable information.
@greatn26959@rawsalerts So are Asians compared to the average American. Yet they are underrepresented in government and federal senior leadership, relative to their population size.
@TownSquareMan@jessesingal Interesting. Seems like a major design flaw for a state that boasts it's immigration enforcement while at the same time having the 2nd highest undocumented immigrant population. Btw google says you can't renew online back to back you must appear in person, even for citizens.
@TownSquareMan@jessesingal How many times can you subsequently do that in TX? He was granted work authorization in 2012. I assume that was enough to originally obtain his DL. So, for let's say the last 10 years, he renewed over and over again online? That's what you're saying?
@TownSquareMan@jessesingal It's valid for how long? 8 years for resident. Less than that for temporary visitor? So you're arguing that he was driving for Uber on an expired license? Highly unlikely.
@TownSquareMan@jessesingal Yet, he was obviously able to obtain a US driver's license TX in order to drive for Uber, which, according to TX cannot happen. Perhaps TX would like to explain?
@FMunderson@ScottPresler At the time that the voting was extended, Lula was winning 57% to 42%. So you're argument is moot because he was already winning.
@cremieuxrecueil A lot of people make this more concerning than it really is. The technological explosion and economic instabilities around the world makes children less desirable. Will human populations decrease? Yes. Will humans go extinct? No. It's that simple.
