Why most people in business fail:
They focus on everything but the bottom line. Your business lives and dies by cash.
A few more harsh business truths for you:
You want to be inspired.
Yet you sit behind a keyboard, in a beige room, mad at the words not coming fast enough.
Go do something inspirational.
The muse doesn't hang out at 9 to 5's.
Happy Quitter's Day!
January 17th is statistically when 80% of people ditch their New Year's resolutions.
If that's you, here's the goal-setting system I use that might get you on track:
You distract yourself with consuming, which leads to anxiety.
The antidote to anxiety? Do instead of view.
What if we all did a bit more instead of watched others do?
There’s a saying in Latin "Panem Et circuses," which means "give them bread and circus." It was used by the Roman emperors to distract the masses from short, often horrible, lives under their rule.
Is it so different today?
Let them keep their circus, let them eat their bread.
While we do.
I just read about a guy who grew his biz:
• Number of users: 20,000
• Timeframe: 3 months
• Budget: $50
Here's how he did it (an old-school method that surprised me):
In a nutshell, here's how it works:
You write your own press release in a very specific format (take a look at how articles on your chosen platform - eg, TechCrunch - are written).
Then, pay someone to distribute it to relevant media outlets, websites, and freelance reporters.
Asking for advice is just asking for a way to erase the truth you already hold.
The only question is are you willing to do what you must? Your gut is a screamer if you listen.
