@DaveJSullivan In early days of Dad’s dementia I’d regularly take him to restaurants. We enjoyed it. As dementia progressed he’d refuse to eat. Realized it was because he’d lost confidence in using the public washroom. We could still drive thru for milkshakes for a while. Hard old stuff.

@lorilydialove Check out the Rick Steves travel guides for Europe. His suggestions for itineraries, accommodations, restaurants etc are excellent. He recommends specific accommodations based on value, location, cleanliness etc as opposed to being fancy. Some hostels are nice too!
